One of the most special aspects of Pine Park is its varied terrain with different vistas. These scenes are from Fall 2023:

The Pine Park Association has received conservation grants to restore its woodlands. The trustees hired Long View forestry to cut up large logs left from the cutting of diseased trees in 2019, to deal with visible piles of slash, and to clear dead hemlocks along the cove at the north end of the park.

700 feet of the riverbank at the north end of Pine Park is undergoing restoration. A pre-condition of the project was the installation of protective fencing to preserve native plants installed in the spring of 2024. The fence was completed in mid-December to keep deer, dogs and swimmers off the bank for the next 3 to 5 years.
