Trustees of Pine Park celebrate National Trails Day on June 6, 2026

Pine Park will celebrate National Trails Day on June 6 with a morning work project. Volunteers will help in putting finishing touches on the park’s new South Ravine Trail. Installing two new benches, spreading wood chips, clearing branches and limbs will be among the day’s goals. Interested volunteers should meet at the park storage shed, about 100 yards from the Rope Ferry entrance, at 9:30 AM. Park steward Hugh Mellert will lead the crew. We expect to wrap-up at noon time.
