Thanks very much to the Dartmouth Facilities Operations and Management for building some lovely log benches along the Girl Brook Circuit Trail. These new benches will allow passers-by to enjoy river views.

Group proposes nine-hole Hanover Country Club plan to Dartmouth
A group of supporters has proposed to operate a nine-hole golf course in the place of the now closed Hanover Country Club. The smaller area would likely not encroach on any Pine Park land, although erosion may still be an issue. Read the Valley News article here.

Great River Hydro has started work removing endangered trees from the riverbank along Pine Park. This work has to be done carefully in order to protect the bank from erosion.
