On July 9, Dartmouth President Hanlon made an announcement about cuts to some varsity athletic programs. In particular, Dartmouth will be closing the Hanover Country Club. However, Hanlon writes:
We are committed to providing public access to the adjacent Pine Park and, in partnership with the town of Hanover, we will explore how to safely open the land for community recreational use.
